It’s that time of year again! The holidays are getting closer, and with that means the start of NatureMed’s Annual Canned Food Drive. Every year, we like to give back to this wonderful community that we are a part of by supporting the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona.
Last year, with your help, we were able to collect and donate over 20,000 pounds of food to the community, and we’re looking to do it again this year.
How You Can Help (and what you can get)
We are asking, if you can, to bring in any undented, unexpired cans to NatureMed between now and the end of the year. We also want to thank you for helping by giving you something in return.
If you bring in 4 cans, then you will get a free in-house pre-roll, and there’s no limit to the number of cans you can bring. If you bring 20 cans, then you can get 5 pre-rolls, totally on us.
We’re also getting an assist from our friends over at i.o. Extracts. If you bring in 15 cans, then you can get a 500mg vape for free and, if you make an i.o. Extracts purchase, we’ll upgrade that to a 1,000mg vape.
You can donate however many times you like; if you keep bringing in cans, we’ll keep handing out pre-rolls and vapes.
About the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona
The Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona has been feeding the Southern Arizona community since 1975.
They do more than just provide emergency food assistance to the Tucson community, but they help to fund and support local farmers’ markets, community gardens, nutrition education, culinary training, and so much more.
They are also advocates in tackling the root causes of hunger to ensure that “our communities are healthy and hunger-free today, tomorrow, and always.”
If you are able, we would be grateful if you would join us in giving back to our community this season. For more information, please don’t hesitate to ask your budtender.
From everyone here at NatureMed and the Community Food Bank, thank you!
